At Charity Chapel our heart beats for missions!
In Scripture we see that Jesus gave a great commandment, “To love God with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves,” and then he commissioned us to go and make His love known to every nation, language, tribe, and tongue. We see this starting locally in our own neighborhood, then across the street, and from there moving to our city, and then around the world.
This is a pretty big commissioning and as such, Charity believes in the power of partnering to see it accomplished. From local ministries like Loaves and Fishes, Waterfront Rescue Mission, etc. to countries far from home that are being reached by our personal heroes, Missionaries.
Charity Chapel has for the last 40 plus years been a major supporter and promoter of world missions and the men and women who have willingly given up the comfort of family, friends, security, and stability to bring the great news and and the great commandment of Jesus to those all around the world!

Sunday March 16th
Every Year, we host a service or event to celebrate and support the work of many missionaries.
We celebrate their faithfulness and dedication to the work of ministry, and their obedience to say yes to their callings.
This is a time where we honor all missionaries who can come, hear about the work taking place all around the world, and where we get to love on and form relationships and partnerships with our heroes!

With the same desire to reach and be a blessing to our on neighborhood, we host an event every fall where we invite people from around the street to join us for some fun and fellowship.
Our desire is to be present in our neighborhood and to get outside the building to meet them, bless them, have fun with them and a have treat, but most importantly show the love of God with everyone who joins.
Neighborhood
US / Youth Local Trip
Our youth also get to be involved in mission work. Every year we take our teens to do a local short term trip where they get to not only serve and learn about missions and how to share the gospel, care for our city, etc. but also fellowship and grow with one another as they serve and have fun together.
International Mission trips
We believe international missions has a great impact in those who go and its a blessing to those who receive.
There is something special that happens as we give up our time, resources and gifts to serve God and share with others. 7 days not often seems enough, and the language and financial barrier, seems to always be a problem, but not for God. It's amazing to see all God can do with our obedience, our hearts and our willingness. He is good and we get to see and participate in what He is doing around the world through missionaries who faithfully serve those cultures.
We get to lift up the hands of those who serve 24/7, 365 days a year.
