Wendy Chacon
Wendy Chacon is from Costa Rica, where she is currently serving with a Discipleship program that started in Pensacola, beginning in 2019. She has a degree in architecture, but beyond a degree, she has a call and a heart for ministry. She loves and enjoys leading mission trips to bless the Latin American culture, and at the same time to minister the teams that go to serve. She serves 50% of her time with Charity Chapel, helping with the media department. In all of this, her life’s purpose is to be creative and passionate to listen to people's needs, encourage them, and to help people to know God and fulfill God's purposes for their lives.
Christy Hepner
Christy Hepner began ministering in Costa Rica in 2010 when she filled-in as a nurse on campus at the orphanage, Hogar de Vida. She was asked to return the following year to organize and teach preschool on campus. She has taught children ages two to five years-old since 2011. Christy’s heart is to bring hope to the hopeless. She delights in sharing Christ with the children she works with daily.
Steve and Tina Same
Steve and Tina Same have enjoyed working with Arise and Shine Evangelistic Association since 1988. They spent the first 5 years in the Phillipine Islands proclaiming the Good News. When challenged by the ministry in 1992 to pick up and relocate in London, England, they joined ASEA’s pioneering effort. They now serve in urban street ministry, operating out of ASEA’s “London Outreach Center,” a fully renovated former English “pub,” where they evangelize among the city’s 11 million people.
Maverick and Amy Hoenig
“We are called to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations with the Holy Spirit as our guide for the Glory of God the Father.” We both love Jesus and felt a strong call to be missionaries at a young age. At one of Globe International’s mission conferences in Pensacola, through divine intervention, we met, fell in love and were soon married! We now have two sweet boys, Jonah & Hudson, and a beautiful baby girl, Ava.
We have served in Asia and after having to leave because of sensitivity and pressure from the government we were called to the Challenge Farm in Kitale, Kenya. We have a focus to serve in any way needed, with a desire for true one-on-one discipleship. Our prayer is that all our adventures would glorify God!
The Brown's
Scott and Dawn Brown
As the Directors of Church Relationship and Recruitment, Scott and Dawn foster cohesive relationships between Globe missionaries, partnering churches and like-minded organizations for greater ministry opportunities, creative resourcing, and strategic training. Scott also functions as an emissary for Globe and Globe missionaries, advocating for strategic global training, sending, and serving of Globe members.
Scott and Dawn have three children, Zachary, Kaitlyn, and Aaron. Scott is a published author and an award-winning documentarian.
Sandy
Britnell
Sandy Britnell
Sandy Britnell began her life career as a missionary at the age of 13, in the jungles of Columbia, South America. Sandy’s parents, along with she and her siblings, established a mission outpost to the interior native tribes of Colombia.
Sandy later served and ministered in Germany, Russia, and the United States, prior to moving with her family to Nicaragua in 1998. There they built a large orphanage in the mountains of Jinotega, taking care of up to 60 Nicaraguan children at a time. In 2005 Sandy purchased 70 acres outside the capital city of Managua. Two years later she opened a second orphanage in Los Cedros, specifically to care for abandoned and abused babies.
